On Thursday, February 28, 2008, Phillip Hunter, Sr. (son of the late John D. and Lucille Chandler Hunter) was featured in a full-page article in APG News. The article chronicle's Phil's and his family's efforts during the civil rights movement. It even includes a classic 1965 photograph of Phil and others during the monumental "Selma to Montgomery March" and a copy of the original "Freedom" Diploma signed by Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.
